Join the right crew
- Ask the founder to enter the email address you use for your CHAINZERO account in Crew & invitations.
- Open the invitation email and sign in or sign up with that same verified address. New accounts also need early-tester approval before the clan opens.
- Review the clan and offered role, choose your player name, then select Accept invitation. Opening the link alone never joins for you.
An invitation lasts seven days unless the founder revokes it sooner. A used, revoked or expired link cannot add another member. If the link is addressed to another email, sign in with the invited address or ask for a fresh invitation. If you already belong to another clan, leave it before accepting; CHAINZERO never switches crews for you. The founder sees the invitation request status, not whether your address has an account or belongs to a clan.
Email delivery can take time. A request accepted by the email service is not a promise that it reached your inbox. The founder can retry a failed request; an uncertain send needs a waiting period before a replacement link is issued. Ask the founder to check the invitation list before requesting another.
Leave or pass leadership
A member can choose Leave clan and then join another crew. Their past shared deck work and advice stay with the clan. They need a new invitation to return.
The founder cannot simply leave while the clan exists. To keep the crew together, they offer leadership to a current member in Clan leadership. That member must accept; an unanswered offer never changes ownership. The founder stays as an editor by default and may choose to leave when the member accepts. Existing invitations close when leadership changes, so the new founder can decide whom to invite.
Disband only when the crew is done
If nobody will take over, the founder can open Disband this clan in Crew & invitations. Read the loss list and type the confirmation shown there. A recent sign-in is required. Disbanding permanently removes the clan identity, shared decks and revisions, reviews and comments, member access, pending invitations and leadership offers. It also stops pending invitation emails; an email already accepted for delivery cannot be recalled.
Your personal decks, binder and account are separate and remain yours. Disbanding cannot erase copies other people already made of shared work. If you want to keep the clan’s preparation, transfer leadership instead. To delete your account while you still lead a clan, complete a consented transfer or explicitly disband it first.
